Nah just that specific model. I’ve seen it in red, silver, and now the gold.

First time I have seen this thread and it makes me sad. Growing up in the early 70's I had tons of hot wheels and matchbox cars and real steel Tonka stuff. Many got "custom paint jobs with model paint and all got played with HARD :( My boss came back from a trade show a couple weeks ago and brought back a bunch of swag,I snatched this one up.20180323_184959[1].jpg

I hear ya man! I am 57 now and my Hotwheels and Matchboxes, many of which I put in here, I received from 1964-1972 and as is evidenced by the pics I put in here-yeah a few had a lot of miles put on them! But I sure am glad I somehow held onto all these gems through my life. I can grab one out of the display and hold it in my hand and remember those days!

Probably the same thing that happened to the dozens of Corgis and Dinky toys, some of which now would be worth a lot- my folks sold them in a moving sale when we moved to Ca. from Ill. in '77:( I literally have around 6 or 7 Corgis left.

I suspect they either trashed them or gave them away after I moved out and went in the Navy even my GI Joe stuff and sports cards from the late 60's 70's. :(

Damn-that GI Joe...seriously collectible now. I had him with the Jeep, the space capsule, suits etc. The only reason I managed to hang onto what I have was I managed to have them in easily transportable cases otherwise they'd be as gone as the others.

I can't see how Williams would get one for "less than a buck" unless it was lifted from somewhere. I remember I paid good money for those.

I had a bunch of stuff that went with GI Joe and add Johny West and Geronimo action figures plus all accessories for them to the list of lost treasures :(
I think the biggest loss was all my old Tonka stuff though, I had just about all the heavy equipment made at the time. It was lost in a fire when we were moving from Cali to Montana when the homemade trailier we were pulling caught on fire from a tire rubbing the side of the box...

Sorry to hear that:( Tonkas being as big as they were would be a bitch to include in a move anyway-I lost all mine too and I had a LOT. Would've been cool to at least hang onto one or two.

Finally got my dream car... the only one I can afford. TRU sale is a sham at this point. Lots of prices marked up and at most 10 percent off the stuff we want. Plus stuff is scattered throughout the store and labels/price markers are missing from most products. Price scanner is down also, so you can not really tell what anything is until you get to the register.:annoyed:

I could be the kid to your left,I had the same haircut...lol. One of the best Christmas's I remember was when my Uncle came in the house with a huge box that must have weighed 50lbs with my name on it. My parents made me wait to open that one last. I tore the box open and inside was filled with crumpled newspapers all the way to the bottom,in the bottom were some weights from my uncles weight set and a shoe box filled with about two dozen Hot Wheels cars...My parents had him keep it to hide it from me so I wouldn't find it and get curious Lol.
