The matchbox cars being from the 80’s and 90’s not real value. In my opinion the racing champions would be a hard sell. I see a lot of nascar stuff for sale at all the shows and nobody is buying it. You could always find a buyer to buy the lot.

You should keep the matchbox trucks from that collection. They are pretty cool.

Thanks for all the replies. Your input is about what I expected. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some super rare grail item in there before I was generous with them :)

They are cool. I am tempted to keep them but I'm really trying to reduce the number of things I keep around.

I’m actually going to a hot wheels show this Sunday. I can show some of the pictures to some people there if you like?

Anything I buy for myself now is 1:43. Its easier to display than 1:18 and cheaper. Bigger and better detail than 1:64.
Really I am only buying the race cars I watched back in the day or on Youtube when I first got into racing, and a few very favorite cars. Will display them in the garage for something cool to look at.

When I first got into imports and JGTC and F1 and Lemans I was in high school.. So Im mostly hunting for my favorite GTR's, a few Le Mans cars, and a few F1 cars. after that, I pretty much have all my favorites in 1:64 already so I wont need much more. All the stuff I would really want is hand made and VERY expensive so Ill never purchase it haha.

I dont have any insight other than that black and silver Ferrari brought back a rush of memories. That was one of my absolute favorites I had as a kid. 10yr old me cruised around a lot in that thing.

I think it will be OK. I've looked at these on Ebay and they seem to be in the 2-5 range mostly and that's when they have a box.

I've laid out the vertical display for the corner of the office. This will be enough for 99 HW. I'm going to fill the empty space between the window and main display wall. I think this will tie the two walls together nicely.
