Getting into trucks. This one was made for Chevron by Lledo of England

and these next ones were made by High Speed

Wow,thanks for that blast from the past! I had the BP truck with the yellow cab, and the dump truck with the red dump box. Those images take me back to childhood.

Happy to see that:) You remember that BP rig's cab could tilt to expose the seats and the engine? I'll be posting more that you may have had later on.

I didn’t have any of those but I did have the BP tow truck. Wish I still had it.

That red tractor reminds me of the one from the Shining when they're trying to get away from the crazy man that is Jack Nicholson

Same pretty much. This one is the "Snow Trac" and the Shining one was a "Snow Cat".

BTW one of the thing I always really liked about the old Matchboxes and Moko/Lesneys was the strong British vernacular in the names and labels on the trucks and London buses. Like on this ice cream truck
    [IMG]
    Cones-yeah we know that one.
    Wafers-I guess..what? Ice cream sandwiches?
Chocolate ices-must be a Brit thing, never had a chocolate "ice".
Bars-I assume a coated ice cream bar on a wood stick like here.
    Lollies-maybe popsickles?
Family Bricks-maybe like our ice cream in a carton?
Lord Neilson is long gone so we'll never know:D

Whatever manufacturer it was that made those did a nice job. Am I right in saying you won't find those here? If true even more cool.

Regular 1:64 Hot Wheel included for scale. The white one has a light switch on the roof and the peach colored car is a ‘color changer.’
