Dollar General, Kroger, Target and Walmart all have their own "exclusives"

Dollar General and Kroger are color variations of certain mainline models. Target's are also color variations but labeled on the lower right corner as Red Editions. Walmart is sort of an anti color variation labeled as ZAMACs where the body color is bare metal, but any stickers etc are still the same. The ZAMAC label is on the face of the card.

I don't believe that's a ZAMAC... just a second color variation. See how the face of the card does not say ZAMAC
If you look closely (bad photo) you can see the VW says ZAMAC with the symbol

 

There's a ZAMAC version of this truck from 2021. I've never seen one.. just noticed it on a list on a different website

Here's one of the Red Edition Target Exclusives.

There's 12 of these per year, released in sets of 3. The primary color is usually red but as you can see this one is not.

 

The blue and red versions are mainline stuff with a second color released as happens a lot.. the purple one is a Kroger exclusive and there's no special markings or anything to tell you that it's special.

I have the Target exclusive vw bug. Says red edition on it but it’s black.

 

And the other two bugs released last year were blue and green.

I don't know why some Red Editions are black though. They did a panel van in black last year too.

AND they're doing the Toyota Van Red Edition in Black this year.. would like to get my hands on one of those for sure.

Those are the two with the wood grain side’s which is funny because I bought them a Walmart.

 

Yeah. The blue and green with wood are the regular mainline ones. Only the black red edition one was exclusive

Up staying in glenwood springs doing some ski stuff. Had 2 hit up the autozone we passed. They had the complete set. Couldn't say no.

 

Found these last night. Only two to exist, (in real life) so I had to get both. The Toyota 2000gt was a coupe but for the Bond movie, they made two of them into convertibles because Sean Connery was so large.
The Toyota 2000gt is my personal dream car.

 

Always knew about Targets Red Label ones but I had no idea what the Zamac ones were, other then just being bare metal and shiny. Now I know haha, I have quite a few of those that I bought online cause I thought they were cool, I can't say if I ever spotted one in the wild yet.
