I've got a few beaters I hold onto for some reason. They were not any part of my childhood, but I think they're cool.

 

Well... I went to my very first collectable toy show and it was packed full of a bit of everything! Of course I was there for the Hot Wheels and going all the way back to one of my first posts in this thread, I was looking for a car to complete a set of 10. It turns out that car I was looking for was a Treasure Hunt (I had no idea what the heck that meant back then). But today, thanks to @SJ_81 's eagle eyes, I now have that TH car!

It was a super fun thing to do and most of the cars I chose were $2 each which is acceptable to me!

So, while at this show/convention/whatever it's called... one of the guys from my old fire department found me and mentioned he was thinking about selling his collection of fire and rescue stuff. Naturally I said let's meet up so a couple hours later I am back home again with another 99 vehicles from him! It's been a really good day for me and my collection!
