Johnny Lightning 63 split window Vette

 

My friend that passed has this same bus. 1967 - 21 window deluxe bus. All original except the bumpers were repainted. Bought in Arizona and garaged its whole life. Friend is helping the family clean it up so they can sell it. He did drive it on nice days and in a few parades. Who ever buys it is going to have a really solid bus to drive. May look blue in the pic but it’s an odd green

 

Here are some pictures of it. Last two pictures we took the seats and mats out while cleaning it. Floors are solid! Still in their original paint. The edge of the back has glue on it from the mats it’s not rust.

 

The diecast should go with the real bus!

 

I actually left a couple in it. He had four of them.

They are big money! He had a 63 panel van they already sold. A few beetles they sold. In the garage next to that bus is a 67 double cab he was restoring. My friend Jay is going to buy from them. Suspension work is done most of the body work but still is in a million pieces. After that bus they will be selling his Baja, a show condition dune buggy, and a drag beetle he was working on.

Found another 55 Chevy panel van and yes it is a Hot Wheels! Just like the other one it has a motorcycle in the back. Doesn’t let you know anywhere on the package it’s in there.
