Yes I actually found it for $2 at a toy show back in April. The guy had like six of them. IiRC @SJ_81 spotted it for me.



That was probably one of the first posts I made in this thread and I had never heard of a Treasure Hunt before. I was only trying to find the 10 HW Rescue vehicles. That escalated quickly and I went from maybe 30 HWs to 3000 since.

 

I found one last night, thought of you

 

@williams63- no rush.. when you get a chance can you look up this truck and see the value of it? It's a plastic body with metal base, yellow windows and light bar and blue rear compartments. I'm sure I over paid for it but I've not seen this version before.

The Welty diecast 1/24 scale 69 F100 turned out awesome. I grafted a 4 wheel drive suspension and added 1/64 scale car crusher tires and wheels. Also have a red and white version of this truck that will be posted soon. Added bare metal foil and made my own side vent windows. The Mean Machine 28-32 Ford pick up is one of the neater versions they put out. Also older Hot Wheels Dave Strickler 65 Coronet AFX.

oh now i miss my 73, and my 77, and really makes me want to get my 67 in my shop and under the torch and tools!

 

Because of the wheel style I’m going to say that’s to new for my book. I know they had a similar one in the 70’s then agin in the 80’s but had the original basic wheels. If I had to guess I would say between $5 $10. If you love it you didn’t pay to much. I still have to get those cars in the mail for you. Need another day or two.

 

No rush on those cars! Whenever is convenient for you sir. I did pay $10 for it which to me is pricey but I knew it wouldn't be there if I left and came back. Thank you for the information!

 

Ok I checked my book and I don’t see it listed. It says 1974 on the bottom but I know that wheel came out later. Let me take some pictures of the ones they list for you.

 

I figured it would be newer since it has a plastic body. Thank you in advance.

 

These top two are what I mean by basic wheel. Bottom one has the seven spoke wheel. 1975

 

Haha out of all the variations I currently have, none of them have that 7 spoke wheel.

 

That’s actually a rare one to find. I don’t know about rescue vehicles but you’re going to pay up if it’s a vw bug.
