Hot Wheels

Unfortunately I only have one of each and both of those came out of Matchbox 9 packs. They're both a couple years old but you may be able to find something on e b a y or the like.

If you do find one, you should be able to remove the red stripes with a dry erase marker. Go back a few pages to see my recent posts about that.

It is an original red line. That one appears to be in pretty good shape too. I’m going to say he’s probably not far off on the price. Sooner or later you will buy one. Maybe not that one but if you collect emergency vehicles then you will someday. Then you’ll want other colors, then other wheels, the red line fire engines…… and so on and so on, its slippery slope.

A lot of cool stuff on there! I have a lot of red line vw bugs. When I go to links like that it makes me want to collect all the redlines. Wish I had a bigger bank account.

Here's a Hot Wheels S13 for reference versus an A380, 747, 777, and a 737 in 1/400



There's also 1/200 and 1/500 scales. I only have four models in 1/200 (one of which was my first post in this thread). They take up too much space, but have the best detail. I don't collect 1/500 since I think it's too small.

Interesting upcoming Hitch & Haul from Matchbox... never seen a fire truck with a trailer.



Disappointing that the wheels don't match between truck and trailer tho.

Surprised they didn’t match the wheels. Pretty cool truck though. The only one I have ever seen with a trailer was actually a vw bus. The bus actually had a big water pump inside that was a vw engine. Trailer had ladders on it and inside was hoses, ladders, shovels and some other odds and ends.

 

That sounds like a wicked cool truck!
