Muscle Machines out in the garage tonight. Posted the lime green version last week of the Daytona. I saw someone posted several large 1/18s of these cars a few days ago. I think I have about 50 of these displayed and another 10-15 that will be doner cars for other projects. I only keep the ones with the motors sticking out. The wheels off these work great for altereds and I pick them up for a dollar in yard sales every so often.

 

These are Hot Wheels Fiat Topolino Altered's with Muscle Machine wheel swaps and a few details added. I think William63 sent me one of these.

 

Yes I think I sent you a couple. Those look way better. I thought the muscle machine wheels would be too big but they look great on both of those!!

These are all great. I love this thread. I've been collecting Matchbox for a long while. Recently, I inherited this one. I thought the rest of the group here might like to see it. With the original box, made in England, 1967. Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow.

 

My first 1/64s were Matchbox cars back in the 1960s. I remember a lot of them but the 64 Impala and 65 Galaxies i liked the most. They were a taxi cab and fire chiefs car. Not sure where its at now but I did have a fire chiefs car buried somewhere in the basement in boxes of family heirlooms. It was still in there after all of those years. I also remember when Hot Wheels came out and I had most of them but they met their fate when you give a 10 year old a hammer and he decides to wreck them with it. Didn't keep the Hot Wheels tracks long either after I got whipped with a piece of it for wrecking my cars.

Why isn’t the sky purple? I think it would be a lot cooler then blue lol

 

Sunlight reaches Earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gases and particles in the air. Blue light is scattered more than the other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.

 

But purple would be coooler lmao
