Hot Wheels

Happy Friday y’all, well once again the Hot Wheels bug got to me, 3rd day in a row hitting some scores! A few of what are pictured were found at a local wal mart and as well the Delorean at my NAPA. The rest were all picked up from a local collectable/Hot Wheel store here in South Texas. A fellow collector let me know about them and so I decided to drop by today. It was literally like being a kid in a candy store. 100’s of Hot Wheels, pegs stacked to the max. With them being a specialty store I did pay a premium, anywhere ranging from $2.00-$5.00. I couldn’t pass them up though. Even scored my first Draftnator. I’ll definitely be cutting back till next week lol “I say that now” but all in all the place was super legit and I’m all about supporting locally owned and operated business’s. Find a way to keep track of them so you don't end up with a bunch of doubles etc.

 

Thankfully with posting on TW, I’ve been able to look back on my photos to double check before purchasing. Once I got around 50 HW I was having a hard time remembering which ones I had and didn’t have. Thanks for the pointers! Gotta love having technology right in the palm of our hands.

I bought more stuff today to hang them all up and expand my display

 

Love that trueno. That black carded crx is going for bookoo bucks, I have that one but loose.

 

Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser station wagon. Looked great with all of glass but could be a sweat box in the summer. I remember my neighbor had one and complained about getting burned on the vinyl seats. The Vega received a wheel swap and some detailing. Was already nicely done and didn't need much help.

 

69 Yenko Z28 was just sitting in the display at Target screaming out to me to buy it. Everything else was gone around it. I didn't hesitate. In this area that was a rare find. The 55 Chevy Gasser was weathered and I added the Muscle Machine wheels because it looked to much like the other one that I have. Not sure if it should be parked with my Muscle Machines or the Hot Wheels.

He has a huge collection of early bronco. He has alot of mustangs also. He is a bog ford fanboy lol
