The set that has the blue 4runner and the Landcruiser prado hit shelves and was out of stock in under 72hrs. I am not about to check every single day just to not miss a set. Its very frustrating

I definitely was missing a few. Though my mind was stuck on cars driven by the "family."

Hot Wheels did make Tran’s S2000. But for Edwin’s Integra, you will have to go back several years to the old Racing Champions brand if you want that.


This is a beat up example, too. And digging down the Racing Champions rabbit hole brings a lot of of their Fast and the Furious releases. Nowadays, they go for silly money.

As for Danny’s Civic, I have no idea if there is a model for it.

There was definitely a lot going on behind the scenes of the first two films. My favorite story was the Evo 7 from the second installment. TYC was a paid sponsor of the film. They didn't make tail lights for the Evo. However, TYC did make some for the lesser Lancer. The story goes that all the Evo 7s used on the film had base model Lancer tail lights grafted on. Apparently, Mitsubishi wanted the cars to look like the yet-to-be released Evo 8, which did feature Altezza-style tail lights.

All of the card art is cool and the starlet isn’t half bad, but I had to pass.

 

The Fast & Furious is really hot right now. When I go to the shows almost every table has something from the movie. Haven’t been to one yet this year but the first one is in March.

Then, i go to my local walmart, round the corner and see the dump bins are full again!!! Walk up to them, and they put big empty cardboard boxes in them instead of refilling them with new, that way they looked full from a distance -_-
