A lot of good looking cars to be had. Out here, the sharks take them all and leave all of the fantasy garbage cars on the pegs.

But that is the fun part for me, being at the right place at the right time and finding something that I actually like.

 

Happy Early Birthday to your eldest! Always nice to celebrate another year. My younger brother will be 30 as well this year. So, as far as the couple goes, they looked to be in their early 40s. The “older lady” looked to be in her 70s. She said she’s been helping her husband collect for decades. She was definitely the early bird target shopper. Always nice seeing people score though, I will have to say I have gotten lucky plenty of times in the past 3 months or so since I’ve started collecting. We win some and lose some, all about the fun! Greatly appreciate the support as well, I’ve enjoyed hunting thoroughly lately sharing with y’all and plan on continuing to do so. Gotta fill up this back house I’ve got coming some way or another lol.

You know it! Us Texas peeps are scoring for sure at the HEB’s “local grocery chain” Scored this set and used that coupon for each of the cars. Some HW items it does not work for like the premiums I believe. If I’m not mistaken it equaled up to .70 cents off each card. Not too shabby. Basically bought 5 and got 1 for free on that set.

 

Saw one of these in person over here in Amsterdam (here for work) and it was pretty sick to see!

Hit up the local Dollar General today and scored these. Picked one up for my dad, one for my collection and then noticed one with a torn up card. Decided to pick that one up as well and free it! Going to be used as my test subject for replacing wheels for the first time on a HW. Getting prepped for my soon to be modified pikes peak Tacoma I’ll be doing as a 1/64 scaled version of my real Taco! “Well as close as I can come to a replica anyways” hope y’all’s day is great. Lol I think this is the first hot wheel I’ve opened in years. Just started collecting in early January but before that, I must have not opened a HW since I was a youngster. Stoked about it

I like the name. "Fugitive"
The original Batmobile was based on the 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car and you can see the similarities with the front fenders and headlight brows with the late 1950s Lincoln Premiers.
I cant imagine the amount of metal work that went into building that Gasser. Maybe I will get to see it this summer. The Canadians from Ontario like to run here in Ohio. They make sure we know they are here with their Canadian flags flying at our events.
