I still cant believe these cars went to the garage.The 2 Hot Wheels are both 40 Fords with the Woody receiving a wheel swap. The 65 Galaxie is a model I built of my own 65 Galaxie before it was repainted Tropical turquoise and is dead on with details. The 55-56 Ford is a old Curtis Turner stock car released by Napa years ago and is die cast. That one is yard sale bound. It was one of the few Nascar things I held on to. I see those going for $40+ and I still have the original box somewhere. Ill find all of that this winter when I clean out the basement.

The camper came with one of Weldy 67-72 F100s pretty much unfinished except the black areas for windows. I did the rest of the details. Now I need something to put it on. To be honest I hate the red engines and grills on these new Hot Wheels 55 Chevy releases and did something about it. Thought white walls were kind of cool so I left them alone on this one. The other 4 I bought that changed.

 

You don’t have to worry about window trim and tail light chrome on those bare metal 55’s.. didn’t know the engines came red, haven’t seen these in the wild yet. I’ve been trying to steer clear of the mainlines because they are sooo easy to compile. However, they keep drawing me back in, but they do not exist where I live for the most part.

Just grabbed a few from the dump bin....mostly old beat up cards but a newer box was dumped and mixed in....still, that yellow Acura and white Lambo are nice. Happy Friday!
