Always wondered that myself. I know there was a show on motortrend where they built a custom Chevy with no bed for the sema show.

 

be cooler if they sold random truck boxes, i want to see that slammed truck with like a welding bed, or a work box. think things like that would be cool

 

There's a few people that 3D print things like that but I don't know of any in this thread... I'm not sure if @Rock Lobster is interested in making Hot Wheels parts

 

I'm always down for a challenge.

 

More garage cars that are nice but not nice enough to go back upstairs. The Econoline Disco van is waiting for nicer wheels. The Beamer is nice and no changes are planned. The Chevy panel received a wheel swap. The 55 Belair, 56 Safari and bullit nose Studebaker are destined to be Gasser projects. The Tonkas have had wheel swaps and the C10 was repainted and had windows tinted, The Fury is untouched and destined for yard sale.

 

Had to run some errands out of town and was able to make some stops on the way back. Finally had some good finds.

 

Wish I could edit my thumb out of pictures. I really like this little truck after doing a wheel swap and moving the front wheels to their proper position. I photographed the original truck at the Don Garlits Museum in Ocala Florida and this 1/64 is very close to the original.
Gonna be at Gasser Nationals tomorrow in Thompson Ohio. Wont be able to smell anything but burning rubber for the next 2 days afterwards.
