Hot Wheels

Finally found something.

 

Good find!

 

I’m digging around in the basement looking for things and I found this in the original box and in plastic. I remember getting it at a rod and custom show at the cow Palace in San Francisco back in 1987. I remember the vendor telling me this car will be worth more than any other car you see on this table if you just hold onto it. It’s a Leadworks Wonder Gals 57 Chevy from Japan. I can only find one totally messed up one on eBay and they are asking $50 for it.. This one is mint.

 

The plane guy will appreciate these, Dug these up, these are from the 80s I’m going through the basement finding cool stuff

 

Uncle brought these back when he was stationed at Rammstein Germany Back in the 80s. The one picture is for Reference of size, that’s a normal hot wheel 1:64. The Porsches say made in west Germany. The gullwing Mercedes is a 1:24 scale Burago from Italy.

 

Yes, I do! Speaking of which, I need to dig out what I have in storage.

 

Where has matchboxes in these boxes still? I’ve literally not seen them in the boxes since maybe 2009

 

I find them mostly at hardware or tractor supply type stores... once in awhile at a grocery store

 

Food city has started getting these in.

 

At least that’s where I got the ones Kilo Charlie got from me.

 

They are everywhere in Mid Michigan.

 

seems to be one of the few things we do have.

a buddy in Kzoo found two super audi’s friday at different stores

 

We don’t have that style up here but we do have these ones.

Spent most of my 3day weekend trying to get organized a little. Found a few older matchbox cars.

 

Hot Chocolate. Body lifts up on this one.

 

Then these two Big Blue bugs. One facing left and one facing right. Plastic on the left one has yellowed so they look a little different. Body lifts up on this one too.

 

FF Dominic Toretto 70 chevelle. These are all metal with a lot of detail and plastic wheels. Did a wheel swap and painted the fender wells black
