Hot Wheels

The wheels on the modern ultra hots suuuuuuck. They look like the bat signal, wish they would go back to a premium wheel version.the cars are cool and super detailed though.

 

So I know this will enjoyed here. I found this Johnny Lightning “customizing kit” on eBay. I completely paid out my ass for this but for a reason. I was finally able to make a correct replica of my current Nova. Another sweet thing about this kit is that it comes with enough parts to make 2 cars. I also painted the rockers to mimic the silver rocker molding on my car. I have a full set of Chevy rally’s on it, the welds on the rear in the one pic are gone. It also has a black primerd hood on it. The stock hood is in my shed and may actually go back on the car, which then means I’ll have to adjust the JL accordingly. The other Nova with the black vinyl top was made into a pro street car. Both also have rubber wheels.

looks like money, time, and happiness well spent if you get at least 1 smile out of it. I know I do with my red 4Runners hanging around my office and house.
