Burago has always been pretty good at getting it right. At one time I had all of them in 1:43 but decided I need to stay smaller.

I have some larger Burago that is ok, nothing amazing, but decent. A VW Nardo and VW GOLF Mk4. This smaller one is really impressive.

Wow! That takes me back... We used to think that the most popular color of pickup sold in western Montana was Forest Service Green, as the USFS would surplus many pickups each year. After working my first USFS seasonal job (GS3, Road Preconstruction) we learned not to even bid on those. This year, I recently saw my first one in many years (privately owned, driving downtown). I inherited the Dodge "Sweatline" 2wd RC 4speed Manual as another seasonal left to return to college that fall as I took the quarter off. We'd sweat the non-functional fuel gauge a little, but would fuel up based on mileage, and I recall also taking on 21.4 gallons at one near-record fueling. The 225 Slant-six burned half the gas compared to the leased Chevy 4wd 350-V8 trucks with dual tanks. I followed one of the latter back to town one evening, and he high-centered the rear pumpkin on a stump. Four wheel drive didn't help him, but the 2wd Dodge and a chain pulled it off!

 

There's a whole range of Natuonal Parks and Forest Service Matchbox vehicles ... they're very popular and hard to come by... I dunno if you're a collector or not but they're out there!
