    Has anybody checked out this Netflix Original series? I never really thought I would be into a political thriller, but I have to say, it's pretty freakin' awesome! Plus, Robin Wright is really hot.

    It's a fictional political thriller in which Kevin Spacey does an amazing job playing the lead role of protagonist/antagonist Frank Underwood. He is constantly plotting and playing people to get what he wants. Very good show.

    Excellent show. You know I had no idea Robin Wright was Jenaaaaay from Forrest Gump until you folks mentioned it.

    That is very impressive acting to play both those totally different characters so well. I have a new found respect for her acting ability. What else has she appeared in?

    As for the show, it is scary being so potentially true to life. I can't even watch a local town commissioner on TV now without conspiracy wheels turning in my head.

    They just put the newest season out there a month or two ago (Season 3, I think?).

    Watched most of it so I am not going to spill any details, except it started and ended totally different than what I had in mind was going to happen.

    But I think I do see what they might be trying to set up for next year's season, when the real presidential campaign is going on.

    I thought it oddly out of character for the TV/movie industry to cast bad Frank as a member of the Democratic Party. But after the 3rd season, I see they might be leading up to a situation where he gets disgraced or impeached then switches to either independent or Republican. To run as the evil vs. the "good" lady who's speeches all sound exactly like Hillary C.'s

    I just finished it up last night myself. Googled Robin Wright. I didn't realiize what a shorty she is and she was married to Sean Penn. Glad the Rachel thing is over.
