Regardless of the actual radio unit, the antennae needs to be tuned. So to answer your question, it does need to be tuned.

Haven't even left been trying to get the inch thick ice off 3 cars and the hose don't work so I been running in the house filling a pot with water and coming back out and pouring it on the cars then punching the fuck out of the ice so I could just rip it off. it's fun considering moving to Alaska now <sarcasm font>

 

You southerners crack me up. A little snow and ice and you think the fucking world is ending! Next time they are calling for ice, grab an old sheet or tarp and put it over your windshield and wiper blades. In the morning you just lift it off and all the snow and ice come off with it... Pussies!
