So I got to thinking about it....with my move to MD being delayed, there is a pretty good chance i'll still be here on the 4th of july.... tis my favorite holiday. I usually spend it out on the water, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, drinking, etc. gotta keep up the aquatic tradition while i'm here. maybe another beach run then if anyone is interested. especially since it'll be nice and hot by then

Edit: i'll be planning on a beach run/camping trip regardless. this is more of an invitation for anyone else who wants to join

 

I'll be in Las Vegas that weekend but a day on the water sure sounds appealing right now. I really need to get the wakeboard back out

I got a buddy that's into Mopars that wants to do the Bolivar Peninsula to Port Arthur one day this summer. If that's your idea of a beach run I'm sure we could work out a weekend.

 

feel ya. i used to be better than him, but my brother has killed me the last couple of years, sicne riding with the wake forrest team. i still wreck him on slalom though

 

I can't slalom to save my life. Some of the guys I ride with can kill it on a slalom course though

 

the adrenaline rush is insane. going from 15mph to 50+ in under a second never gets old.

 

Have you ever done barefoot skiing?

Did it behind our boat, with a wakeboard line. did a full blown drown yourself behind the boat, water start. Managed to avoid the enigma, but not the face slam.

One of the coaches we had come through our shop would ride his board outside of the bindings, tiptoe to the end, and then hop off and barefoot away
