    This is a serious questions.

    why do folks always keep moving forward when they do burnouts? it always seems to them hitting something or at the very least, starting to slide sideways. why not just do a stationary one? our trucks can do it jsut fine. i would imagine a rear wheel drive car could as well.

    gotcha. last burnout i did on pavement was with the treadrights, right before i put the 35s on. just held the brake hard enough that the the fronts locked up and kept it from rotating or moving forward.

    that's what i'm askign though, why not jsut stay put when you do the burnout? brakes are stronger than motors (on stock applications). hold the brakes down far enough, and the front tires will lock up, preventing the vehicle from rotating or going forward. is the moving burnout just for show?

    They hug corners very well...went on a code call the other say 100+ on some eater curvy roads...u could hear the squeal of the tires...the interior space for front passengers is less than the Chargers though

    The taurus ecoboost is stout. Harris county is using them now. Those mofos tear up cars in wrecks but the motors keep going. We still get a lot of crown vic's to repair with 180+k miles.
