    The sleeve is supposed to be bonded to the rubber. That one had completely torn away.

    I'm guessing that I put them on early 2012. Yes, they're light racing upper control arms. I replaced the bushings with the updated version that ships with the new ones.

    I believe the arms have a lifetime warranty. I have seen that folks have sent them in to be repaired, but I don't have time for that. The replacement bushings cost $25 and a few hours of my time.

    BTW Nathan you said you came up with a rivnut tool, any chance I can steal that from you? My C02 tank came in yesterday and as soon as I'm feeling better I want to get it mounted up the the truck.

    Nathan - I think I may just be stating the obvious, but your racing was clearly not light enough for those UCA's...

    I am probably going with the desert products (DSM) boxed uniball ucas with my mid travel setup. Hopefully those work out well, they are certainly the most reasonable uniball.

    You're more than welcome to borrow it, but it's only a piece of 1/4" aluminum flat bar. I may or may not be able to find it so I suggest you go ahead and drill a hole in some flat bar and go for it. :D

    I can do that as I have a bunch of flat bar laying around. So explain to me how you use it. I've never used rivnuts. I'm assuming you use it to drawn it down to expand it...

    The picture shows how it should be set up for use. Wedge the bar against something so it won't turn. Hold the head of the bolt so the bolt won't turn and turn the nut. That will expand the rivnut on the backside of the bed. Make sure you use the correct size drill bit for the rivnut. If the hole is too large the rivnut won't expand properly.

    Guess that's true. :)

    The LR UCA's are still a great value, even if they SPC screwed up the bushings on the first go around. I wouldn't rule them out.
