    Lol yes!
If you're going for kings and icons. I think I cons are better designed than kings. But they both ride great.

Unfortunately no, but colin amd Biscuits have icons. Compared kings and icon last meet we had. Icons came out on top cause of how they designed it. Other than that they ride pretty much the same

What's the design difference that made them come out on top?

The spanner wrench is more durable from icon. Not saying you couldnt shave it to fit in the kings. Also the adjustable sleeves for the spring, icons were one solid piece. And kings had a slit sleeve that had a allen screw holding it together. Think that was what we were abke ti come up with at the time

then there's the whole thing where king didn't put enough holes in the sleeve, making it nearly impossible to adjust them on the vehicle...

    yes it is!!
I'm running Icons on my truck and I LOVE them and would definitely recommend them. The differences between Icons and Kings are the color and valving. Icon=digressive, King= progressive

what's the thread pitch and spacing on the body of your kings? if you can get that info, i'll go see what my icons are. if they're the same, you could just get the icon collar and thread it onto the king body.

I had thought about that, butni dont know the first thing about taking these things apart. I would love to learn how to rebuild them as well

to put a new collar on (assuming the icon fit the king). you remove the coilover. compress the spring and take off the lower spring perch (that's what that pic gap in the side of it is for). slide the spring off the bottom, and thread the collar all of the way off of the bottom.

if you bring the coilover to a shop with a good spring compressor, it will take you longer to remove one coilover, than it will for them to do the everything else on both shocks.

you can thread the collar off the top (less threading), but you have to take the top cap off, and to do that, you pretty much have to rebuild them anyway.
