Well my new job is sales and I dont really have any experience with sales so I bought

"Think and sell like a CEO"
    "Masters of Sales"
    "Closing Techniques: that actually work"

I figure it will at least give me a brief insight into becoming a better salesman. And if nothing else it will make my "boss" happy lol

Those 3 books are usually 12-17 each and I bought all 3 for $9

Haha thats the wrong attitude in sales. but in this situation yeah.. im really making the push to get her to move to Houston. Making some really good arguments too lol

She wants to be down south where her degree is more in demand. But she wants to go to Atlanta (shes never been just likes it from TV) but after showing her some pictures, showing how close to the beach it is, and showing her the types of places we could afford, shes coming around

Nice score. There is always something to be learned from any book... even if it's to never read the damn thing again.

    I want those Duallys.

I'm with Dennis on this. Don't allow anyone to hold you back from your dreams.

    Morning Matt!

Our industry is like Wall Street: it never sleeps.

I dunno. We're all doing something to further our own self-interests and sales is probably the epitome of that.

    What's your girl's degree?

Right, you have to build that relationship with the customer. Think of it like this: they're paying you to like you.

Tell her to check out the Michael E. DeBakey VA hospital here in Houston. It's staffed by Baylor College of Medicine employees. Houston's Medical Center located a mile or two away is one of the most advanced in the world.

Yup. The more you get them to like you the easier the sale is.

Will do. She also would like the option to be a teacher, or work with a center for Autism if you have something like that

I'm not sure what's out there, but if it exists as far as medicine/behavioral science is concerned, Houston has it.
