those are the coordinates i was planning on launching around since it's near the visitors center. do you know how far back you can drive/do you have to carry all of your gear along that trail to get to the water?

i'll head over sometime in the morning. not too early. just looking for a leasurely paddle with a little fishing, beer, and RC boating.

Take her to memorial park it's awesome for walking/running

Well since it's fresh/salt I would go to the south end and fish for reds, I like redfish magic it works very well, even the gold/silver spoon works well. If you have a fly rod I can give you some flies

That and chartreuse are my go to for bass

aahhhh, that's much better. i was looking at the nature center, thinking i had one hell of a hikewith the kayay ahead of me to reach the water lol. i'm not opposed to sleeping in for once  so if you want to come on down, i'll meet you there whenever is good for you. even if i'm already out, i'll come back to the dock when you arrive. assuming you have a kayak of your own. just got a little inflatable raft to pull behind the kayak, but that's for gear and my cooler, not lazy lyndal :p

no fly rod. i'm sure i'll pick one up some day and teach myself, doing it from a kayak for the first time sounds desasterous lol

i'll stop by academy tomorrow and see if they have those. my tackle box is full of florida and virginia lures at the moment. haven't fished texas yet.

rubber gasket goes in it. it's originally designed for boat deck and hull penetrations when you need to get wires or hoses through without letting water in. they work very well for aftermarket firewall, floor and roof penetrations on cars

This is where the instructions said to run all of the wires, each of which has a factory connection. Oh, and a boost line. je2a8y7y_02c5379a57007e631e4733a5edcbd1fc4d2fd4a3.jpg

Crouse-hinds makes some CGB's that come in different sizes that are a fraction of the price and work extremely well.
