Yeah the thing about harleys is they all fit different, you have to kind of go sit on them and ride them to get the exact one you want, that gives you a comfortable ride. I had my heart set on dynas until i rode one, pretty sure i looked like Gnome trying to ride that bitch, then i got on the superlow and that was the end of that.

    I know that feeling

I almost traded in my sportster on a Softail Blackline a year or so ago...had my bike in for service and while waiting, sat on a used one...then test rode it...then couldn't get the deal I wanted...so I pouted and rode my sportster home

This guy knows. Plus the saying is true, loud pipes save lives. When I first got the bike it had this whisper quiet pipes. I was almost ran off from lane changes all the time from people not watching. With the short shots that doesn't happen anymore. People know where you are.

If you dont care about the whole "Harley" thing, hondas and yamahas are great bikes, they're WAY MORE RELIABLE, WAY LESS MAINTANENCE, ride great, feel great, but its not a harley.........

Found a honda that looked similar to the 883 but gloss black. Something about the Harley though just pulls my heartstrings

I like most bikes out there. Hate Honda anything. The saying that Harleys are not reliable really has been disproven. Older ones have some issues here and there but really they're tried and true tough bikes. I've had mine for three years with no issues at all and I've neglected the hell out of it. Went for a 130 mile ride today without a hiccup. I had a Ninja 250 before this. Was badass on gas 80mpg and very comfortable.
