What you have for the front sound good. For the rear, I would do an add a leaf instead of a block. Especially if one of the rear leaf is sagging. It also cost about the same as a rear block.

    :(
    This.

There is another guy here who brews his own beer. I'm just now getting into the fray; have almost everything I need to start brewing.

Moog is good. Its what I'll be using when it comes time to replace ball joints.

If you're not wanting to use Bilstein for the rear shocks, then check out OME Nitrocharger shocks. You can buy them from someplace like Headstrong Offroad or who are highly recommended. I would use an AAL over a block, especially when your leafs are suspect... but then again, I would just go with a new leaf pack if it was feasible.

    It's tempting.

The reason I was looking at blocks vs aal was the guy at Toytec said because of the possible bad leaf I would be better off with a block. I see the aal at wheelers looks about right with some new u bolts.
Guess I need google that too!!
From the looks of things I don't need a press but just a puller for the ball joints.
Well if anyone wants to help out (that's done this) I'll have a few ice cold homebrew BEERS at the end of the project....

You should do some searches on here, read and seen alot of bad stuff with anything other than oem. Parts breaking and the part having to be replaced after 8,000 miles. Saw one buy MOOG UBJ and then replace not to long after install with oem because it broke.
As for the shock I want something cheap because of the bad leaf. I want to get a new leaf pack but for 1 don't have the money, 2 they're on back order and 3 I transfer soon. The deck is staked against me....
Looking for like a $30 or less shock.

Haha yeah the OME shocks are a little more than $30.

That's interesting; I did not know that about Moog parts on Tacomas. Replaced everything I could on my previous Silverado with Moog stuff and they're still going strong some 100k mi later.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Aw yeah. Another home brewer. What method are you going to start off with (malt, partial, or ALLGRAINWTFBBQ)?

I need to brew again soon. I have only 1 and a half kegs left.
