Gotta endure some short-term pain for the long-term goal. Like it or not, you'll see more of it. But it is tough, once you have seen some $$$, hard to do without 'em.

You just got to push thru it. This January I quit my $50k a year job as a designer so I could go back to school for my engineering degree. I sold my motorcycle, four wheelers and trailer, and moved into my moms house after living on my own for ten years. I got a job teaching a lab class at school which gets me about $90 a week for gas and food. I will have about 40 grand in student loans by the time I finish but if you're smart with your money you can pay that off pretty fast.

Keep an eye out on the bulletin boards at school and look everywhere for a part time job at a small mom and pop type shop. You can get a job doing something much better than stocking shelves or flipping burgers.

Check and see if your school has student jobs for their facilities and operations division. Here at UH they employ lots of students for maintenance type jobs and they are really flexible with schedules.

It'll be nice to park in a garage again... Truck barely fit in the garage in Houston and even then , all the crap in the garage only permitted one vehicle parking :)
