I need to cut my bedsides so I decided to build a flatbed! Kinda like the guy that had a flat tire and decided he needed to put a cage in his truck.

I just need to find the time and a garage that I can borrow for a couple of weekends and I'll get started.

Do this, and you can have the following conversation:

    ".... ohhhh, you have a high-clearance bumper,,, that's so cute...." :p

And check out my virtual spare that just kind of sinks into the bed until it's needed, then it re-materializes.

Not sure though if the spare is virtual, or if the spare and the bed are in different time lines. :D

Sorry, the inner sci-fi geek, just came out right there.

A foot of standing water makes for a good under carriage wash.

No, you let them go through first to check the depth, then when they stall out, you go by with a bit of speed and "wave" 'em.

i only have a mile and a half drive to work. i pretty much know every dip and crack in the road, so i can see the deep ones.

the really fun part is knowing where all of the monster potholes are, that are now under 8 inches of water.........camaro had no idea it was coming. i got a chockle, he probably ruptured his spleen

The entrance to I-10 from downtown is notorious for flooding. There was a good 100 yards of 1ft+ deep water through there. I think I caused the metro van on the other side to have to stop. :D

Homebrew bumpers and sliders, 5100s & Eibachs up front and mutt leaf pack out back, 285s & Wheelers type B, sway bar deleted. Wife's ride: 01 4Runner 4wd sport. Stock with exception of TRD taco coils, and shift kit.
only had one spot today people wouldn't drive through. Area didn't even have pot holes and water was only up to the top of the curb. Heck, I would have taken the mustang through it.
