that's actually fairly common. not the safest, but not uncommon. the mount is more hazzardous than the fact that it's enclosed.

because unlike carbonating a beverage, filling tires and running air tools consumes much larger volumes of air and uses much higher flow rates.

 

That's a 10lb tank, which is common.

The fact that he used bent flatbar screwed into plywood to hold the tank was the issue. One hard hit and that tank is going to become a projectile.

 

The bolts for his body mounts will snap before that thing

 

Just found this beauty on that build, apparently he was frustrated the shop couldn't get 886s on the coils.. when you see it.

What's the hose clamp for?

 

It's also upside down

 

I didn't really notice the hose clamp lol, but the perch is upside down was why he couldn't get the 886s on there.
