Inspectors won't illegally pass cars because if I remember correctly it's a $10,000 fine for the inspector and another $10,000 fine for the shop.

 

I was told 35% when I got my truck tinted too.... but according to the DPS, 25% is legal up front.

I've just had a very bad experience with high water, so I've always been cautious. My first truck was flooded. But that was some 13 years ago.

 

Lol i have flooded a few cars in my time

I remember driving a 1995 lexus gs300 into some flood waters. Water go up to the side mirrors! ! And that was sitting still. No water leaked inside at all. Stayed dry and watched the water just ripple across the windows. Car didn't even die. Drove right out of that with no pproblems
