    It takes 3-4 days to get to Washington where I used to live so 7 days seem right

    I know northern Oregon took 36 hours from the far south tip of Texas

    First day started at noon ( vagina pit stop) then 10-12 hours a day. From Watson lake Yukon to anchorage was a 14 hr drive. Anchorage to homer was about 4 hours. That's allowing Time for lunch pit stops and decent rest and not driving too terribly much at night. I think total miles was right at 5000

    It all depends on species too. Sockeye or chinook is premium. Humpies and coho are for canning and chum. Well. Save the chum for cut bait and catch a 75lb halibut.
