Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

I had a Glock 27 with me (round chambered) every day I went to school. There's no way in hell I'm going to that Shit hole part of Houston unarmed. But I'd rather plead my case to a jury than have someone explain to my wife and mother why I'm not coming home. "Judged by 12 as opposed to carried by 6" as they say.

 

I should add that my Glock never left the car though. There were a couple of nights when I had some random stuff going on where I had to be on campus till almost midnight where my S&W Bodyguard .380 was in my front pocket.... There were entirely too many armed robberies on that campus for me to be playing around. And the 450 pound "security guards" on Segways didn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling about my security.

 

Now now Jon.... Let's not be exist. There were both men and women on those Segways.... But they were all huge and lazy.

 

I used to eat 2 hours or so before working out. It wasn't a lot, but it was something.

Not at all surprised. They have the fucking awful customer service. They're consistently ranked among the worst in the nation.

I have internet at the house only.

I actually had 2 reps that were out doing a survey start talking about how if I bundled my TV and internet I could save money. I told them how I had cable, but never watched it, or got around to catching up on the DVR, so that was my main reason to drop it. Also, the TV would not be free. I would still have to pay extra for that, just not as much.

 

I stream everything off my phone lol
even have the hdmi cable for the phone to tv. And most of the cable accounts, Netflix and what not come from my cousin.
