Ax handles make good self defense tools. Hit a person once with a hard hickory ax handle and they usually give up.

 

So I needed to order longer nipples for my Frontier. Sadly my fronty has short nipples, but I like them long, because they are easier to grasp gently and then twist down hard with a nipple ring. Just makes me giddy that I can twist them down so hard to make sure the ring is held on tight.

I called a few places and asked if they had them in stock. Not a single place did, so I dropped by Star Toyotas parts department. Gave the parts guy the part number. He comes back with "not in stock, will be here tomorrow." I said cool...then ask how much. He reply was 9.55, I said no thanks cause Classic Toyota has them for 5 bucks each. He then said "errr yeah how about 4.75 each." They tried to rip me off for more than double lol.

Anyway I can now do the breather mod on my rear diff with my new longer nipple. I'm a happy guy! My truck is now 'yota approved with at least 0.0000000000001% 'yota DNA, which means I'm going to get stuck at the beach when every other 'yota does lol.

I should take you to the hood...lol. I frequent third and fourth ward. It isn't as bad as people make it to be. However, I don't like Denver Harbor and Acres Homes, although Acres Homes is being revitalized with half million dollar plus properties popping up. During the day it's tame, at night it changes. I am considering moving to third ward because I can get a hell of a deal on a new house and sell my house, pay cash, and put money in the bank.

The best defense is to be cool with everyone.

Before people give opinions about something as serious as firearms, do the rest of us a favor and fucking read the law you claim to know. It could cost someone their freedom or worse...

Also, local city ordinances DO NOT trump state firearm laws. By law, any entity falling under the jurisdiction of the state cannot rewrite state law...

Only if local authorities are granted the authority under the state Constitution. Local authorities have NO authority to regulate firearms.

Also, the 2nd Amendment cannot be subjected to more restrictive laws. This is a right which may not be infringed.

I was a cop for 7 years prior to becoming a pilot and am very well versed in the do's and don't of LE.

Employers and schools cannot regulate firearms kept in vehicle on the premises. Because it is a public area... Let me check further.

 

I was a K9 handler. I was in the military but assigned to the Secret Service and State Department Dignitary Protective Details.

 

Correct me if i'm wrong, but a lot of parking areas for offices and schools(private schools and universities) are not public property?

 

I work at a University, and I believe campus includes both student, staff, and faculty lots. Street meter parking is a public, so you should be able to keep it there.

 

For any of you that are beer nerds, I would suggest grabbing the Sierra Nevada collaboration Beer Camp 12 packs if you can find them. Specs downtown already sold out yesterday, but there are still limited amounts around town. I believe the Kroger on Shepherd gets their delivery today. I had a tasting of all 12 beers last night with the Sierra Nevada rep and a Brash brewer. It's good stuff.
