I fucking hate it. I am tempted to open a door every time, but then i realize it would mess up my door. I really need a long broom stick or something to stick out there.

 

Not sure... don't see why it would..uhm nevermind...see below... I started riding in the UK and it's perfectly legal and acceptable there as it is in a few states over here. If there's room to do it what harm does it do?

Of course not. It is called a passing lane for a reason. There is a separate lane for passing. And I'm usually in that lane anyways. There is no separate lane for motorcycles between driving lanes. Just because it is legal, doesn't mean it is safe. But i guess i do plenty of shit that isn't safe myself so who am i to say anything.

 

Normally I won't split lanes because its generally unsafe because other drivers are dangerous, self-rightous, cock suckers. The ONLY time I disregard this caution is when I'm in stuck baking in stop-dead traffic on the freeway in the middle of summer. Its not a pleasant experience roasting in a leather jacket, helmet, gloves, and inhaling the exhaust from the other vehicles around.
