Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

The bigger projects were usually things like motor swaps, dynamatting the whole car, or doing body work. (Basically pain in the ass type stuff). While the smaller ones were like, suspension work, installing a stereo system, or basic maintenance.

Do you guys do these types of things or does all this sound bonkers? Just checking to see if things are the same as they were 15 years ago. I'm not asking because I have any work I want/need done. Just surveying to see if it was just my friends and I who did things like that or if this is the norm.

There was a mod meet at my place a few weeks ago. Did two lifts on the same day. It was pretty simple enough.

Yes, but we are older than most of these ricers. So all we require is beer. Sometimes food, if you offer

It's tough but possible. When I did construction I worked from 7am till 3pm then had classes from 5pm till 10/11pm every night of the week. I was physically drained after two years of that.
