    If you never dealt with insurance companies before. Let me give you an insite.
    If they don't have to pay extra for your vehicle in storage, rental, or anything that make them pay more money than they should. Then they take their sweet time.

    I don't have rental, but I will after this Lol
    the truck is also at the dealer, and they don't charge for storage fee.
    So right now the truck just sits there, and it won't cost them any money

    That's what I'm trying to tell you! There is no storage fee, and they don't have to pay for rental. So they take Their time with it. They usually pay for 2 weeks of rental car. So that's why it's rushed. They have to make a decision on either fix or total the vehicle in two weeks.
