Get some OMEs, or Billies. Run a new leaf pack, get a new UCA if you have some extra cash.

There is no reason you can't run a 33 inch tire on a 16 inch rim. Hell, you could run 35s if you want. Cut cut cut lol

You can probably get the entire OME kit for under 1200. If you don't want a new leaf pack (near $500) you can get an AAL for a few hundred less.

You can run 33s with 16" rims. Are you looking to do 285/75, or are you going to go 255/85? 285 and you'll have to trim and possibly do a cab mount chop. 255s seem to workout for many without having to cut.

35s?! Psh. That's too conservative of a tire. Need to go 37.

I know I can. I just wanted to stay with my stock rims right now and I had people say that when you get a 6 inch that you cant run a 16,, atleast 17s. don't want 35s cuz of re-gearing haha

I don't know really... really not good at it all just really don't want to trim. the 6 inch was going to be 999 for lift but then with tires it was going to be like 1200 and then was told about have to get new rims so that would have bumped me up to another 1200 or what cuz I would have wanted something nice... but trying to keep same rims so I can cut some cost and get new rims later on

I have never heard of having to increase your rim size because of a lift.

Run 255s with 2.5" of front lift and smash the pinch weld, you will be good to go. 5100s front and AAL in the rear you're out $250 and a few hours of time.

DB lifts include different spindles, you have to run bigger wheels to clear it

    I gotcha.

I don't know what to tell you about the tire/rim thing, other than that's your choice. But you can find several 33s in a 16" rim. So that should be a non-issue. Definitely contact Discount to see if you can work on a deal. Those prices you see on the site aren't always set in stone.

I'm actually a fan of the 255s and can't wait to get a set. Even though I just bought these 265s. hah

I'm sure you'll find out soon enough with their first question: "How comfortable are you with following instructions?"

There's only a few manufacturers that do 255s, right? There doesn't seem to be as many options as 285s.
