While tuning it, the first time you out it in cal, the needle should be on red. Then the swr should be in lower black?

Ummm... When you key up you are looking for 1.0-1.5 VSWR. 1.0 is perfect... Higher it is the worse the tune is.

Mine is currently off the scale... Lol

Thanks for the link but weather techs were the first item I bought for the Tacoma way back when. They're an awesome product (I've gotten crude oil, slop, and muck on them and they're still practically flawless) and they note from the founder inside the box will have me purchasing their products till the day I croak.

Great looking truck! How's the leg? Used to work with a guy who at one time competed with dirt bikes. He landed wrong once & doesn't have a knee anymore.

Can't wait for the one in Texas City to open.

Stuff I learned when I was an EMT: during WWI, a broken femur was over 80% fatal. Medics and field doctors had no idea how to deal with the breaking of such a large bone and it's associated trauma and pressure on the femoral artery which runs along side it. Gotta think too, these weren't clean breaks. War does some awful shit to a human body and you rupture the femoral artery in those days? That's a goner. Anyways, that's why the traction splint was invented. Stretches out the leg to relieve pressure on the artery. In fact, the sigh of a patient that whose leg you're putting into traction is a good sign that the traction is tight enough.

Nope, not cheesy at all. It's refreshing to hear someone talk about American exceptionalism and have pride in what they do. Now if we could just get our politicians to do the same!

    Thanks!

I have no pain in my leg except on my knee where the screw is attached to the bottom of the rod. It only hurts when i'm crawling with my son on the floor. Outside of that, i can run a little and my walk is just fine.

I lost a lot of blood in surgery i ALMOST needed a transfusion. Thank God it didn't happen. But as of traction, i'm glad they did that. The EMT pulling very hard made my broken ankle hurt but it took pressure off my bone and muscles. Quick response saved my life. If i was on a trail in back country or in the wilderness, things could have been different.

Sometimes it feels like the EMT is going to rip your ankle and foot off but it won't happen I promise

Anyways, I'm glad you're okay and you have a handsome son to be proud of. I'm following your build thread. That color is the one I originally wanted when I was shopping for my Tacoma.

 Why do I have to be getting sick the day before Christmas? Plus I have a weeklong trip starting on the 26th. This is gonna be miserable.

Its not bad, actually I like it better this way. Would be even better of I could just close whatever day I wanted, and just go play. Maybe even a week.
I say working 7 days is better than 5 days. Cause by the time your weekend is over, you dread going back to work. Where as I know im going to work the next day regardless.
