On the cat question... only thru font cat is monitored by the ECU... so if its missing your ECU would throw a code unless you did something to remedy that.

 

Yep, Prop Stop is closed for the season but the owner opened it up for us. Had a nice fleet out on the river yesterday (X2, X25, X-Star, A22, 23LSV, and an older Centurion)

 

I can get the Sims or could I just leave the o2 sensors there. But would I pass inspection without them?

Aslong as its not throwing a code you should pass, if they look at the exhaust it's to check for a muffler

I'm no expert on what they look for on inspections here... but if your ECU says there's no cat when they plug into it then that would be a problem, right? Other than that, if they are just physically not there I'm pretty sure nobody would figure that out, especially with one set of them still there.

Ive considered putting in ST headers and removing the rear unmonitored cat... still "illegal" but retains the primary monitored cats.

You could always ask someone who does those inspections what they are actually required to check besides just plugging in to the computer, checking blinkers, etc.
