Last protest that was around that area was the Planned Parenthood. I think the group was on the site, or nearby, but it caused a lot of rubbernecking on 45.

 

Possibly the only time that I dislike driving my Jeep that is not completely enclosed.

I'm not allowed to carry at work.

 

I just wish I could carry while on campus. This semester hasn't been bad, only one armed assault. Last semester we had about 10 armed assaults plus an armored car was robbed in the middle of campus with shots fired.

 

Yeah, then there's that. Mine stays in the truck while in the office.

There's days I miss main campus, and then I remember things like that. I was fortunate for living on campus for that year that I never had my truck broken into. And there would be times that it would sit there for weeks on end.

 

I'm pretty sure that I'd be packing on campus.

 

Only 3 more semesters. I will say, every semester gets better.

 

I always thought it was a bad idea to leave a firearm in your vehicle unattended. Maybe you have better security, or get to park in a garage. But for me, I park in an open lot in downtown. Not a whole lot of trust there.

 

Yeah, we have a somewhat safe garage to park in. We have had breakins before, but always in the surface lots around the building.

Maybe I need to start carrying my backpack into the office more often.
