The tie down points on Pelicans require you to undo the strap before opening the box, unless you're using the handles as tiedown points. I just found Plano makes storage boxes with side tie down points though. I'll need to throw the cooler on the bed and see what kind of space I have available and then order new cases.

Wtf is this, I follow instructions and get deducted by not going against them the 5 points makes a difference. It clearly states do not use matlab on the first page

 

I pretty sure the Yukon from igloo has that type of tie down, only downfall to it is the beefy handles on the side

Any reason why you wouldn't tie the cooler down with the cast in handle on the Pelicans ( not talking about the swing handle ) ?
