    I'm on my second solar G Shock. My first one lasted 8 years before the battery died. Only reason I replaced it S my wife was looking for a birthday gift for me last year. They run about $120 and I think well worth it.

    I still wouldn't even consider that expensive in the grand scheme of things, and acceptable in watches to me

    I currently rock a luminox that was a gift, but I'd never spend $300+ on a watch...
