I'm not buying one, I'm making one.

That's not going to work out to well.

I'll have to build one first to figure out the cost. The goal is to have something that's easier to install and cheaper than what's out there now.

So, where should the snorkel come through the hood? Up close to the windshield, or closer to the nose? Right above where the intake punches through the inner fender is an option.

Thought you needed one that sits on top of a 15 ft. CB antenna.

I would say by the windshield. That would be the highest part.
I can't do the inner fender cause i don't have the plastic inner fender to protect it lol

I know the area right between the windshield and hood is a good high pressure area, but are the edges also high pressure? If so, good for daily driving, if not, might not work well for daily driving. Either way, not relevant for off road.

Good points to consider. The top won't be the traditional snorkel scoop, so that may not be an issue. Avoiding low pressure areas will be key though.

If you let me drill holes in your hood for mockup we can work something out.

Yes, yes he does. And no, no pictures of Dennis on my products. :luvya:

Anyone have a plate rear bumper they want to sell? Got hit yesterday and don't want to go back with the flimsy OEM bumper. Since lower part of the quarter panel is messed up a HC bumper would be great.

Very long shot someone will have a HC for sale. CBI has quick lead times on their stuff.

The pic of Dennis with that pink koozie will make those things sell like hotcakes.
