Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

I have the Extang Tuff Tonno, cheap, light, and rolls up for when I want the entire bed. Downside is it has two bows to hold up the cover.

If I had it to do over I might spend a few more bucks and get an Access cover. More money, but no bows, as they are built into the cover. Downside though is that the mounting flanges do go into the bed a couple of inches. Well reviewed all over this forum, and one of the TW vendor sells them at a good price.

 

Yea I am not 100% what I am going to get. I like the softtopper, but its 650+. For that I could find a hard camper.

This is my second Extang, neither one has ever leaked. First one was the cheapest softcover they make, snaps and all. That's the only actual experience I have. A cover and a bedmat, or even some leftover carpet, makes the bed quite useful for all the misc chit that gets thrown in.
