Yes sir. Plus now I can goto shutdowns as a structural welder rather than a helper. Makes getting a job a lot easier and pay a lot better.

Ehhhh. The work for shutdowns isn't year round. Only spring and fall pretty much. Kinda tricky to get work in the summer and winter.
At least that's what all the foremen here have told me.
So.. I can easily make $45-55k working during spring and fall. But to make $100k is gonna require more work.

Last job I was a welder as well lol

Leak at the tailgate in the RollnLock cover was annoying. If it actually freezes where you live and you have one you might get locked out. Takes up a lot of space when rolled up (like a toolbox). Renders factory rail systems useless (depending on manufacturer). Cannot put weight/accessories on top of the cover.

    They are good security wise.

People are still moving in from out of town and a lot are paying cash. It is a powerful feeling paying cash for something so expensive. You've basically knocked down any and all competing offers, especially if the sellers want a quick close.

My mom was looking last year. When she finally decided to purchase, another person swooped in and made a cash offer for full asking and the seller took it. She bought the house next door (small custom home builder), but that was full of it's own problems as she bought before the ground was broken. At times she wished she had bought in a more traditional subdivision instead of an old 10K sq ft lot with a small home builder doing the construction.

Her range was 150-210K. Some of the crap I saw for 180K+ was incredible. I actually quite liked the Lennar Brookstone Collection at Southdown Trace, but they are long sold out now.

She looked at foreclosures also, there was a lot of competition. One of the houses went for 17K above asking.

Best of luck. You'll find the perfect one eventually. I hope to be doing the same in a couple months as I would like to live closer to BW8 or even inside the loop if I can. My needs are different though.

Yes and I like the Undercover one which is expensive, but you can actually put weight on it.

    Congrats!!!!

Are social media friends considered friends? Especially the ones that you've never met lol.
