I think the Colorado is the best looking. The taco has become less attractive IMO and the frontier is more feminine (although it hasn't been determined if that is the NA version since it's the world truck aka Navara NP300).

At the very least Sinh Sinh or Tan Tan...maybe even some NAM.

I didn't like anything about the new tacos except for the tailgate stamp but I'm actually starting to fall in love with it.

 

I love my Tacoma, but if I was in the market right now I wouldn't buy one. They just keep cookie-cutting the damn things by changing one or two minor cosmetic things and making it a new year model.

I wouldn't seriously considering buying another one until they FINALLY make the diesel available in the U.S. Lack of power/torque/mileage is my number one complaint.

Nope not yet. Was hoping to get it done before Moab, but Moab is off the table for this year. My vacation time is being burned up with a couple of other things this year. It will get done though.

 

Even if I was to re-gear, the mileage would still be shit. Granted the Taco is substantially heavier than stock, but even then 20 mpg tops is shit with todays fuel efficient engines. Toyota really needs to pull their heads outta their asses and offer the diesel.

 

um it is black... and I'm not sure about the bumper.. he recently added a piece to the front that we refer to as an underbite..

 

They will. The GMs are getting a diesel as well as the 3rd gen frontier (that Cummins I4 I tells ya!).

The Tacoma is a good vehicle. They are pretty reliable and because of that the resale is through the roof high (pretty much the reason why I didn't buy one). If they could make it more truck like it would be great (better/beefier rail system and sturdy/substantial tailgate would be good places to improve upon). I'm pretty sure these have been addressed in the new 2.5 gens lol. If not then they are going to continue to ride the sales high, which is a marketing dream really.

Speaking of sales high, the Tundra is riding it even though it is basically a refresh of the old truck.
