Meh. I don't see the hate. They do a damn good job and you buy the cooler once in your life. Out in the desert we put a few bags of ice the yeti and it was 3-4 days until we had to refill it again.

Not sure what actually happened, but time of night, type of bike, that usually means in-experienced rider full of intoxicants of some sort and the result is a cleaning of the rider gene pool. "usually" the case, but might not be.

Idk. Ive seen Coleman hinges and handles break. And lids cave in from people sitting on em.

And in the long run of things. $400-$500(which I'm sure most of us have spent way more than that on useless toys and mods before) for a one time quality purchase that will outlast you. Just doesn't seem too horrific to me.

That's the big mama jama, but I'm single or usually have one chick with me, so the small one does ok. Plus I don't go camping often if at all, just has to hold beer, monster, and sandwiches lol.

    Only Yeti I'll ever buy...

And I would purchase another Chumba or Turner first lol.

Yep I remember yours, same one I wanted, but I was waiting on a deal lol.

My bike was actually very clean and devoid of loud colors. I also have 2 metric cruisers in my garage that aren't loud.

Lol. They makes good coolers, but their price is a bit much. I guess it's all about salt life down here lol.

Even in experienced hands road condition can account for a lot of mishaps. Perhaps pea gravel falling off the back of a truck, mud from an offroad vehicle, etc, etc. Of course speed, target fixation, etc, etc, etc. Only the rider knows what happened and he is in no condition to say.

It wouldn't be bad if that's what they really cost. But I always ended up having to replace the latches every few months and I put in 2 seals in the 2 years I had mine. And I don't even know how many drain plugs. The gaskets are free replacement but the latches are $15 a set and the drain plugs are $10 for two.

Except raptors and yeeps aren't quality.
    .
Actually. With thinking like mine, we'd all pay $20-$30k for mid size trucks with an underpowered v6 with the same body for 10 years lol.

Well. Losing the drain plugs would be your fault. Not yeti. Why so many latches? Lol what the hell were you doing with em?

Not all of them were lost. The gaskets on them would leak. I had one set of latches that broke from dry rot and the rest just stretched out and wouldn't keep the lid sealed good.

I finally got to where I just kept a set of latches and a spare drain plug in my glove box. I put the last set of latches and the last drain plug I had on it before I sold it to Dennis.
