    Agree though by not enforcing the regulations at Bryan Beach they have effectively made it open to anything...whereas at SLP the regulations are enforced. I think there is even signage posted at SLP, whereas there is none at Bryan.

    A rule is only a rule if you make people aware of it and enforce it ... a management tip for everyone. (TMYK)

    From an environmental perspective, Bryan also has a much better chance of regenerating its dunes due to the silt and logs being delivered there by the Brazos river. I'm sure those dunes have been driven on for years and are fairing just fine considering. If anything they are larger than the dunes at SLP which aren't driven on.

    That said, I acknowledge the illegality of driving on the Bryan beach dunes. Is there some intentional overlooking of this criminal activity...possibly? Certainly nothing evident being done to stop it. :notsure:
