    Powder coating sliders is goijg to be a waste of money. Once you hit a rock, there goes your powder coat. Save yourself 100 bucks and just paint it

    Can't seem to get my compressor hose to seat well with the disconnects. Both NPT. Seems like I only get 4 threads in before it becomes a PITA. When using the adapters with the air tool or anything else, it's easy.

    Bah.

    Try using a wire brush to clean both female and male ends. Using some PTFE tape may help seat the threads as well as seal them. Use two to three wraps at most.

    Or buy new fittings. What size & connection are they?
